Front-end Developer
Front-end Developer
I am a Front-End Developer whose focus right now is Angular and Ionic. I discovered my passion for programming at Meridian Technical Charter High School (MTCHS). Senior year of high school I got an internship at Riafox doing web development tasks such as bug fixes and even creating entire sites in WordPress. After three months as an intern, I was hired on as Junior Web Developer. This grew into a Web Developer role and over the next four years I built and worked on dozens of web projects. From Building custom themes and plugins from scratch in WordPress to some PHP & Jquery web apps. In January 2019, I made the switch from Web Developer to Front-end Developer where I worked exclusively on web and mobile app projects in Angular and Ionic. Since then I've flourished as an Angular developer and have taken on a variety of side projects that will be outlined in the skills section below.
As a student of the GIMM program (Games, Interactive Media, & Mobile Technology) at Boise State University, I have been exposed to a wide variety of languages, frameworks, and platforms within the realms of game development, mobile app development, and web development. Some examples include the Adobe Creative Suite, Unity, Maya, Arduino, GitHub, and many more. Having worked in all of these different areas I feel like I have a basic understanding of the design side of things and a very good understanding of the development side of things. Although it's not what I'm passionate about, this has given me an eye for design.
